Group Teaching PracticeUNDULATION: TEACHING FLUIDITY & SUBTLE MOVEMENT

This class will teach you to help your clients develop greater flexibility, adaptability, fluidity, body awareness, and the ability to heal after injuries. Teaching others functional movement requires a diverse skill set. Helping clients become aware of their existing patterns is the first step, but can be the most challenging. It is also often the most important step for those with chronic pain.

This class focuses on how and what to teach to our most challenged clients so we can take our instruction to the next level, including the 6 fundamentals of fluid movement. The concepts can be adapted to any movement or bodywork practice to enhance instruction for beginners or professionals. After completion of this course, you will have the tools (including sample class plans, handouts, and exercises) to teach undulation workshops.

Many strategies for improving client interoception and movement potential will be taught. This is an interactive class; participants will experience and practice the exercises. This class is appropriate for:

• Structural integrators
• Physical therapists
• Pilates teachers
• Personal trainers
• Yoga teachers and yoga therapists
• Massage therapists

Taught by Anita Boser, LMP, CHP, BCSI, RYT-500, author of Undulation: Relieve Stiffness & Feel Young
